When to take pepcid? - pepcid two
doc said I should Pepcid twice a day for two weeks and then come for a check to see if they have acid reflux ... Well, I do not know when to take it! I'm supposed to take approximately 10 minutes before eating or what?

If you are a 20-mg tablets taken twice daily every 12 hours. The half-life of 6 hours with a peak 3 to 4 hours. when the 10 mg tabs can actually about 3 times a day and has 20 to 30 minutes before meals. Dose of 20 mg is the recommended standard and is working to better control the acid production. Some of my customers if they prefer, in doses of 3 and say that works best for them. If you buy the generic, famotidine, is much cheaper.
If your doctor has ordered twice a day, so I'm sure he meant, without regard to meals. Just to make it simpler than that for when I got up and remember before going to bed.
